Q: Mr. Cosby what was it like to be in the company of Griselda Blanco?
A: Being in the presence of Griselda was no different than socializing with any other of my friends.
Q: What was your reaction when you saw Griselda for the first time?
A: My reaction? I was nervous. I didn’t quite know what to expect but I internalized the nervous energy.
Q: What were the first words Griselda said to you at the visit?
A: “Thank you for coming to see me” were among her first words.
Q: Did the sudden wealth change your life?
A: My life didn’t change much. Only because Griselda cautioned against high-end spending. She insisted I remain low key!
Q: If there was one thing you could change about your life, what would it be?
A: I’d get an education, go to law school, and become a successful criminal defense attorney.

You ever wonder if Sherry coulda been hired by Griselda to screw up the prosecution?
I know she’s a hoe but she’s running a multi-million dollar business now, buying and flipping multi-$ homes in Weston, Fl. I don’t see how she could do that considering a bank loan with her record (since getting fired from a state office), a cop’s salary (her husband’s) or a secretary’s salary could afford to buy and flip Weston homes.
It gets me thinking that Blanco saved her own ass AND still been able to spare the lives of two very close people to her (you and Rivi).

Hello Mr. Cosby, I hope all is well with you and yours. I grew up in The Rockaways during the 80’s and 90’s and watched all the big shots in my neighborhood pushing product, getting that paper real quick and all but, TNT have shut down all of that after PO Ed Burns was killed in South Jamaica, Queens in ‘88 the game got hot and cats was going away for years from the Rico Act. I’ve watched the Cocaine Cowboy movies several times and I was really amazed to learn that Ms. Blanco was supplying pretty much…most of the country during those years and you were quarterbacking the operation for a good amount of years with her and her family. A lot of folks don’t realize how much of a thinker and not so much of muscle it takes to run an operation like that and you never came up short. I especially respect the way you finessed the situation that you had with Ms. Blanco with the other girl. Smart move, that is probably why she hadn’t had you clipped. No disrespect to the dead, but if her husbands had the same thought process as you, they’d be still alive too or let me correct…there would not have been more than one husband! I’d have done the same thing bro fa sho. I’m glad you made it out physically unscathed and it looks like you have done good for yourself and your family. I wish sometimes that I had the courage and do or die but calculating but not foolish attitude that you possess. God Bless.

Charles…the only thing I would like to say to you is….I’m just glad that you’re alive to see your children grow. So many of our black homes are fatherless, but God is good all the time and may he bless you even more….Stay up and out!

I watched Cocaine Cowboys last night with my husband after he insisted on me seeing it. I really enjoyed it. Ms. BLANCO was really the BADDEST BITCH, I EVER SEEN! I have one question… WHAT IN THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU DECIDED TO MESS WITH THE WHITE GIRL? When you mention you were seeing the cousin of a inmate, I was like this guy really has to have a death wish. Lucky for you she didnt have your life ended. She really had to have major love for you and wised up so not to kill you.

you speak as if getting an education is either beyond your realm of realization or something you just don’t want to do.
you have an obligation to your community-at-large and need to pursue not only a post-secondary degree, but a way to become a visiting instructor at a college. any one would love to have you for a semester or more.
i often wonder how cats like you with so much to teach our community finds no time to do so.
help us out and prove me wrong.

mr cosby, you were the only one in either of these movies that had an ounce of common sense- however i choose not to glorify these choices you’ve made in the past- perhaps you’ve helped your small community with the money you acquired in the “game”, but the product you pushed destroyed communities across america ten-fold. There are few strong men and women in the world. you seem to be a strong man. people look up to you, albeit misguided, there’s truth in that. A strong man has two choices- to help the weak stand on their feet. or, to take advantage of the weak. Crack-cocaine is the vice of a strong man imposed on the weak for sizeable profits. A lot of young men seem to look up to you… mostly for the wrong reasons. In the beginning of the documentary you mentioned that you had a dream of going to school, criminal law, etc… Rather than writing a book and profiting greatly off a story of human tragedy and loss, you could be of great service to future generations by means of education. Education is our only salvation.
